Project Description
ROYAL DEESIDE
This is a very special part of Scotland, not so widely covered by many of our tour operators. Royal Deeside is a magnificent valley which follows the River Dee from the Cairngorm Mountains to the North Sea at Aberdeen. The river flows through some of Scotland’s finest scenery and passes in the shadow of Lochnagar Mountain and Balmoral Castle, the Scottish Highland home of the Royal Family, hence the name “Royal Deeside.” Your journey here from the south has the added bonus of taking you through Glenshee where the landscape is both rugged and spectacular.
This tour is a must for those with a love of Beautiful scenery, Castles and of course the Royal Family. Even the whisky distillery here has a Royal connection.
